Have you EVER thought this way?

Dearest Darling Friends,
Have you EVER thought this way?
While on a busy road, look at where you are going instead of people in your way. If they see your eye line, they’ll likely clear out of your path, and your will feel like ‘you OWN the road’. It works!
Chew gum or eat food if you are doing what would normally make you feel nervous. It tricks a primal part of your brain into thinking you couldn’t be in danger because you are ‘eating’. Now I understand why people chew gum on the cricket field. And I thought it was arrogance. It was actually fear / nervousness. Strange but funny.
Before interviews, imagine yourself as old friends with your interviewers. You are in charge of the way you perceive your situation, and your comfort will be infectious. How true!
Take a peek at people’s feet when they are talking to you. If their feet are pointed away from you, the person you are talking to wants the conversation to end. My good lord ! It is going to be an ego busting exercise.
Notice eye colour when you meet people. People will like you more for the slightly increased eye-contact. Want to give it a shot?
If you are in a group meeting and expect someone to take you to task, sit right next to them. They will lose the ‘pack mentality’ that makes them safe to attack you. They will be gentler. Ahaaaa ! If only I had known this earlier...
People are more likely to agree to a smaller favour if they deny a larger one or two first. Interesting indeed.
When a group of people laugh, people instinctively look towards the person they feel closest to or want to feel close to. This might open a can of worms….
If you stay calm when someone is angry with you, they will probably get angrier but they will be ashamed of themselves later. Practical but I guess this is the most challenging too. But it will be so great to implement it.
If you make yourself really happy and excited to see someone, the next time they see you, they will be probably a lot happier and more excited about it. Dogs do this ALL the time. Sorry, bad example. However, it is the complete truth.
Many physical effects of stress are the same as those of exhilaration. Example,,, heavy breathing, speeding heart etc. if you reframe your threatening situation as a challenging one, your stress will become exhilaration. This is truly incredible and MUST be done.
If you ask someone a question and they give a partial answer, maintain eye-contact and stay silent. The answerer will usually assume the original answer was not good enough and they will continue talking. It really works!
If you work in customer service, put a mirror behind you. Customers will be nicer for nobody wants to SEE themselves as rude and impolite. This is brilliant!
Never say or write, “I think” or “I believe”. It’s implied anyways. It also sounds so non-confidential. Yes, I have noticed.
If you want to feel happy, smile as WIDE as you can. Emotional expressions do cause emotions. Truly true!
