Fear and Bravery

Dearest Darling Friends,
I follow the writing of Amit Sheth, who has authored a book called 'Dare to Run'. I heartily recommend this book to anyone interested in long distance running.
In his last blog post he writes....
I remember my favorite lines from "The Game of Thrones"
Bran asks his father "Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?"
His father replied, "That is the only time a man can be brave"
The above lines blew me away. Earlier, presence of fear used to make me curse myself. I used to feel low about being afraid. I used to feel like a coward every time I felt the presence of fear. AFTER reading this, fear looks like an opportunity to be brave. Wow! I see light where earlier I saw darkness. I see possibilities where earlier I saw shame. I felt liberated....
Did these lines do something to you? Would love to know about it.
With love, prayers and exceptional wishes,
naren
Imagine, when we wake up, we are given only what we had thanked for.
